The NGO BENDOUGOU was created on December 22, 2018 in Nantes, France. It was created to support the development of the Mogofin in the Mogofin region. The NGO also helps Mogofin living in other regions of Guinea, such as Conakry. It was founded by Mogofin living abroad and works with Mogofin in Guinea. The president of "BENDOUGOU" is Elhadji Mohamed Lamine Diallo. In the video above, he explains what the ONG BENDOUGOU does and calls on Mogofin people to work together to move the Mogofin region forward.

BENDOUGOU's aim is to raise awareness of the Mogofin case. And to promote the Mogofin language. Not only among the Mogofin themselves, but throughout Guinea, West Africa and wherever Mogofin are found. It organizes religious events in the Mogofin region. Mogofin from towns and abroad take part. These are special occasions for the Mogofin, when they speak their language and important meetings take place.

The NGO BENDOUGOU also identifies village needs to which it can respond. In recent years, for example, mosques have been renovated and toilets built. The NGO has also provided financial support to Mogofin people who are very ill, have undergone surgery or have suffered an accident. They sometimes provide money for funerals or sacrificial feasts.
